Atlas Hydraulics expands to larger facility
Atlas Hydraulics Inc., a manufacturing and assembly company for OEM hose and tube parts, will relocate to a larger Greenville facility to accommodate for growth.
“We need more space in order to operate for our expanding customer base,” Plant Manager Troy Collins said. “We picked up a lot of new orders going into the new year.”

Fountain Inn-based D&W Fine Pack said Tuesday it bought the thermoforming division of Clear Lam Packaging Inc. of Elk Grove Village, Ill.
This is the latest of several recent acquisitions for the Fountain Inn-based supplier of food packaging. In the past year, D&W has acquired Jet Plastica Industries of Pennsylvania and California, CM Packaging Group of Illinois and Tri-City Packaging Ltd. of Canada.

The University of South Carolina Upstate plans to lease more space in the University Center of Greenville and continue its search of a future Greenville site for when it reaches capacity at the center.
USC Upstate received unanimous Greenville City Council approval March 19 of a resolution enabling them to locate an educational facility in the city.

US Fibers announced today plans to invest $5.5 million and expand its polyester recycling operations in Edgefield County, creating 48 new jobs.
A recycler of polyethylene terephthalate post-industrial and post-consumer material, US Fibers said the project at its Trenton facility will allow the company to increase capacity. The project is expected to be finished in the fourth quarter.
