BFB Spartanburg Pays $4M for Industrial Site
BFB Spartanburg LLC and Highland Baking Company purchased the former Mrs. Smith’s site at 7001 & 7101 Asheville Hwy in Spartanburg, SC for $3.98 million, or about $16 per square foot, from Cornerstone GSP, LLC.
The facility was constructed in 1954 and sits on 12.5 acres in the North Side / Rt. 9 Corridor. The site includes a 240,200-square-foot industrial building and an 8,184-square-foot retail building. It was formerly used as the distribution and manufacturing facility for Mrs. Smith’s baked goods, and will now be used as a baked goods distribution center by Highland Bakery based out of Chicago, Illinois.
